The T-Pot™ - securing bait to a t-pot

There are two ways to secure the bait to a T-Pot – at the center of the base netting or hanging from the eye below the plastic hub. Securing the bait to the base netting is preferable since it helps to keep the center of gravity low and thus enhancing stability.

Step 1

For models MA860, MA680 and MA480 enclosed T-Pots, secure the bait to the top layer of the base netting. This is essential to create a through passage when it is lifted with the net to release the catch.

Note: The bait can be placed in a bait bag or tied down using a bait clip or a piece of steel wire.

Step 2

For models MA840, MA640 and MA440 open-sided T-Pots, secure the bait to the base at the center of the pot.

Note:
The bait can be placed in a bait bag or tied down using a bait clip or a piece of steel wire.
